Valley View Charter Montessori

2024–25 School Description and Mission Statement Valley View Charter Montessori (VVCM) serves approximately 710 students with a dedicated team of 36 teachers. Rooted in the Montessori philosophy since 2004, our program has grown from a single kindergarten class to a full TK–8 school, moving to our current campus in 2017. We emphasize practical life, sensory learning, language, math, and cultural studies, while promoting inclusion and seamlessly supporting Special Education students. Our community values compassion, cooperation, and respect. VVCM sets high expectations in a safe, supportive environment, offering a challenging curriculum aligned with district and Common Core standards. Our Middle School is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, promoting collaboration and global thinking. Facilities like our STEAM Lab, Garden of Learning, modern library, and access to technology enhance learning. Our PTO supports innovative programs, including virtual reality tools and the Meet the Masters art program. In 2024–25, we expanded our social-emotional learning focus with school-wide implementation of Zones of Regulation and introduced “Passport Recess,” where students learn and demonstrate safe, inclusive play practices. Our staff collaborates to meet each child’s academic, social, and emotional needs through innovative, data-driven instruction.
